An international conference of countries which have influence on events in Syria is scheduled for this Saturday in Geneva. It aims to try to find a solution to the crisis. Iran hasn’t been invited, despite earlier statements from the UN’s Syria envoy Kofi Annan that it should be part of the peace process.
